Set in a converted Victorian barn in the calming countryside, The Granary Spa offers a wide range of holistic and beauty therapies with a personalised plan for each guest. Therapies include the traditional manicure, pedicure and waxing but also the newly launched Zone Lift facial (an alternative to Botox ), sports massage, reflexology and hot lava shell massage. Guests can relax in a beautiful lounge before and after treatments with complimentary refreshments. The owner, Clare, explains that “people spend most of their waking hours rushing from this to that and never allow time to just ‘be’- no phone, no computers, no stress. This is what we provide at The Granary Spa.” One of the most important elements of the spa is the team. With fifteen staff, training and development is essential, which is why the spa closes twice a year to hold well-being events for the staff and frequent training ensures that guests really do have a calm and enjoyable experience. Clare explains that the concept behind this spa is a ‘trio approach’, comprising hands on therapy, Pukka Herbs to balance the body internally and Made for Life organic products to support the skin and body externally. This way, when guests leave, they are able to continue their spa journeys at home.
