Located in the heart of Hastings Old Town, The Laindons is an impressive Georgian building that began life as a coach house in the 19th century. Today, it continues the tradition of providing comfort and a high level of luxury to all who visit.
Our aim is to provide guests with a place to escape and relax – be it for a celebration, a break, a business trip, or an opportunity to explore. We strive to ensure that your stay with us is extra special so that you leave rested, content and recharged.
The Laindons has six beautiful rooms, five with high ceilings filled with light, plus the Eaves Room, a cosy, atmospheric rooftop retreat. Every room has its own distinct character.
Breakfast is served in the conservatory which overlooks East Hill’s nature park, the perfect place for a relaxing start to the day. The Laindons team has created a menu that reflects the seasons, sourcing the best local produce.
Old Town Hastings has many beautiful old pubs, plenty of live music and every style of food in a variety of restaurants. If you’re a fish lover, this is the place to feast on the freshest seafood caught and landed literally just metres away!
Antique hunters will enjoy many bric-a-brac and collector’s outlets, as well as a wide variety of hip cafés and traditional tea rooms.
Hastings is set in tranquil rolling countryside – a culturally and historically rich area with many castles, gardens, museums and galleries to visit.
