For more than 110 years Chinthurst has been educating children and preparing them for the challenges of senior school and beyond. The school has been shortlisted for Independent School of the Year 2019 in recognition of the breadth and depth of the education experience and the school’s values and  leadership. Wellbeing is at the heart of a whole school pastoral care system and the teachers give priority to building relationships with the children over everything else. Academic outcomes are outstanding with the majority of leavers heading to the school s highly selective senior school, Reigate Grammar. Other destination schools include Epsom College, St Johns and Box Hill. The school enjoys particular success across all sports and has a strong LAMDA drama programme.
