A Little Butter and Demerara Sugar

This is barely a recipe, more just a gorgeous way to serve cheese as a starter…

  1. Pre-heat the oven to gas 4, 180°C. Unwrap the Camembert and put it back in the wooden box.
  2. Slice the apple into thin slices (peel if you wish) and arrange in an overlapping spiral on top of the cheese.
  3. Dot with butter and sprinkle with sugar.
  4. Place in the oven for approx 20mins, until the cheese is melted. Serve with crusty bread.
