Wine+ This canapé has lots of Mediterranean-inspired ingredients in it, so we looked for a delicious rosé to match. The Wine Society do a lovely Corsican Rosé 2017 (£9.95). It’s a blend of native Corsican grape varieties and packs lots of Mediterranean flavours in. Rosé is normally the drink of summer, but the colour of this one would look great served at Christmas.

Daisy cupcakes
These are an indulgent treat after the fasting of Lent. Change the amount of buttercream if needed – the ratio is twice the amount of icing sugar to butter, which makes it easy to adjust.
