Full boarders enjoy evenings and weekends filled with trips and activities including visits to the cinema, international sports matches, bowling, Weston-super-Mare beach, Go Ape, baking, craft nights, sport and birthdays are celebrated with lots of singing and cake!
The boarding house is the place where most pupils make long-lasting friendships and receive the support and guidance of a team of dedicated staff to guide them through their time at the school. “The quality of boarding provision and care is excellent. The experience of boarding is warmly praised by many, and significantly enhances boarders’ personal development, as they become self-reliant and tolerant of each other.” – ISI Inspection Report 2023
Outstanding pastoral care is at the heart of everything the school does. The innovative Wellbeing Curriculum educates pupils about their mental health and wellbeing through a series of activities such as Yoga, Movement to Music, Alfresco Pursuits, Mindful Walk and Talk and Meditation.
