Sacred Heart School Report Card
Sacred Heart School in Wadhurst is delighted with its latest ISI report, which confirmed the school has ‘met’ all Independent School Standards. The report praised governors and leaders for prioritising pupils’ wellbeing, noting students feel “calm, safe, and emotionally resilient.” Parents echoed this, with 100% saying their child is happy. It also highlighted strong pastoral care, high academic expectations, rapid pupil progress, and a calm, respectful learning environment centred on the school’s values.

Claremont Sports Park
Claremont School is enhancing its sports facilities with a significant investment, supported by the International Schools Partnership, to create the Claremont Sports Park.
Key developments include:
- a full-sized floodlit 3G pitch at the Prep School, which will serve as a year-round venue for football training and competitions, opening in 2026
- resurfacing the Astroturf pitch which will be ready for September 2025 onwards
- the Prep Sports Hall has undergone renovations, including to the changing rooms and public areas
These upgrades aim to elevate the school’s sports programme, provide exclusive Football Academy facilities, and enrich the overall student experience by combining sporting excellence with academics.

Swimming for Demelza at Spring Grove School
A 12-hour swim at Spring Grove School recently raised over £1,000 for Demelza House children’s hospice.The Swimathon involved all pupils from Reception to Year 6, staff members, Old Springgrovians, parents and grandparents. From 6am onwards there was always someone swimming lengths in the pool – whether it was with woggles and adult help, or competitively against the clock. The Swimathon culminated in a disco swim, and finished at 6pm with a grand total of 3,429 lengths completed.
