Do you follow a beauty regime? I’ve always loved the ritual of cleansing, toning and moisturising and I’ve been doing it since I was about 12 years old. My mum taught me the importance of taking care of your skin from a young age to prevent sun damage and premature ageing. I’m definitely a wrinkle phobic, so I make sure I cleanse, tone and moisturise twice a day, and I exfoliate my face twice a week.

Do you have a particular product you couldn’t live without? I can’t live without Max Factor false lash effect mascara. I love it! No matter how little sleep I’ve had or how much of a rough day I’m having, it always comes to the rescue. It makes my lashes appear from nowhere and really opens up my eyes. As a local fitness instructor it’s difficult not to sweat off my make-up, but this mascara always stays put even in the most hardcore classes.

What’s your ultimate pampering treat? My ultimate pampering treat is a microdermabrasion session. This is a deep exfoliating treatment that makes my skin baby soft and helps treat signs of ageing as well as combatting breakouts. My skin feels silky smooth afterwards. I run a fitness and beauty company from my home in Marden and microdermabrasion is definitely the facial for best results on all skin types.

Who’s your style icon? It’s so hard to choose just one style icon. I love all the old school pin-ups like Brigitte Bardot and Marilyn Monroe. They have a classic feminine look and I think they’re fabulous. I also love Davina McCall. Her fitness regime and healthy lifestyle are really inspiring, and she balances this with a busy family life.
